Our Parish Priest is Fr Stephen Baillie. Fr Stephen is also Parish Priest of St Joseph's Clarkston.Fr Stephen is assisted by Deacon Paul Graham.
When planning for Baptism it is helpful to meet with one of us to make arrangements for the event itself and also to get support for you and the Godparents to best prepare for the sacrament.
If you are getting married please get in touch with us as soon as possible, at least 6 months before the wedding.

Fr Stephen is assisted in the good running of the parish by our Pastoral Council. We will meet between 4-6 times each year.
The Pastoral Council advises on the practical aspects of parish life and takes an active part in organising events and maintenance.
Alongside Fr Stephen and Deacon Paul, the current Pastoral Council members are:

Children up to 11 years of age are welcome to join in with our Children's Liturgy during the Saturday vigil Mass.
All adult parishioners engaged with children within St. Bridget’s are subject to current regulations with regard to Child Safety and Protection Legislation.
St Bridget's parish has a collection point for the Trussell Trust Food Bank in Barrhead.
Donations, no matter how small, are always welcome and can be left in the white Food Bank box in the porch.

A number of the members of the Pastoral Council co-ordinate maintenance, repair and upkeep of the Church buildings and grounds.
Paul McNamara and Simon Keenan, will deal with the ongoing maintenance of the Church buildings.
Peter Maclean will look after garden maintenance and development. Due to the size of the garden additional help is always welcome.
