Parish Priest
Reverend Fr. Douglas C Macmillan is St Bridget’s tenth Parish Priest.
Prior to his ordination Fr. Macmillan worked in the banking industry. At his ordination as a deacon in 1998 he was incardinated into the Diocese of Paisley and was a curate in St John’s ,Barrhead, St. Mirin’s Cathedral, Paisley, Administrator of St Mungo’s, Greenock, Parish Priest of Holy Family, Port Glasgow and St Bridget's, Eaglesham.

History
St Bridget’s historical ties are lengthy from St Bridget in 451AD to Eaglesham in 1368, the establishment of the Church in 1858 and the near disaster in 2010. Not many Churches have such lineage and the History Section in recommended
Hall Bookings
St Bridget’s has a delightful modern hall with full kitchen capability including cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge. cups plates saucers, glasses etc. The kitchen was completed in 2014 and has a good sound system and large TV which can be utilised for lectures. The hall can be booked in advance for regular use or a special event. See hall booking for details
